No. Your photos are handled carefully throughout the process. Standard loose photographs are scanned without altering or damaging the original. Fragile, damaged or unusual items are reviewed before scanning so the safest method can be used. 

Yes. Photos can often be scanned directly from album pages without being removed. This is especially helpful for older albums, adhesive pages or photographs that may be fragile. Individual photos from an album page can also be cropped into separate digital files if requested. 

You don’t need to have everything perfectly organized before sending it. If there is an order you would like preserved, such as by person, family, year, event or album, simply keep the items grouped and labeled them clearly. Otherwise, I can work with the collection as it is. 

Your completed digital files will remain available for 90 days after delivery so you have plenty of time to download and save everything. After that period, project files may be permanently removed from my storage. I recommend saving your files in at least two places, such as your computer and a cloud or external drive.
